    To show support for the SLHS Lady Tarpons the GMMS Lion's for Christ club is sponsoring a wear your favorite blue shirt or South Lafourche shirt on Monday, 2/20/2017. The Lady Tarpons will host a round 2 playoff game Monday night at SLHS. The Lion family wants to wish the Lady Tarpons good luck for their playoff game on Monday.     During the School Board's last meeting, the Board approved the procedures (attached) to be used when handling an incident of restraint and/or seclusion. The procedures are attached.

  • Book fair ends Friday

    The annual Scholastic Book Fair at GMMS will end Friday, Feb. 3.  The fair will be open during morning recess and lunch recess. All checks must be written out to Golden Meadow Middle School.   • Book Fair - Jan. 27 through Feb. 3

    The annual Scholastic Book Fair will be at GMMS from Jan. 27 through Feb. 3.  The fair will be open during morning recess and lunch recess. Mrs. Pitre will be bringing the 8th graders on Friday, Jan. 27. Mr. Williams will be bringing the 7th graders on Monday Jan. 30. Mrs. Mayet will be bringing the 6th graders on Tuesday, Jan. 31.  The book fair will be closed on Wednesday, Feb. 1, due to a scheduled meeting.
